We are At the Root Arts CIC. Our aim is to amplify and empower the voices of different communities, people and places through the transformative power of the creative arts.

We work alongside and with communities to find opportunities for collaboration, to be creative, to enable people to grow in confidence and develop new skills, and to embrace community and creativity.

We use drama, music, dance, and the wider creative arts to bring joy and fun to communities in the Lothians and beyond.

'My daughter absolutely loves At the Root! She started with trying a Summer Camp, which led to another. She then moved on to a weekly drama class, which has become a non-negotiable part of her week!
